The damned war was never going to end. Jericho really just wanted to go home. And yet he'd been the one to reup. It was his third trip back to the sandbox.

Of course, the thing that made it worthwhile were the friendships made. Friends could get you through anything, and had, more than once. Sometimes friends got promoted and sometimes that meant good things. Occasionally it just meant that you knew you had someone you really trusted watching your back.

Which was exactly how Jericho felt standing in a canvas-sided "office", looking across the desk at his "old" friend. He stood at ease, chin up and eyes ahead, fighting the urge to grin. "If I can speak freely, sir, you're damned lucky to have me."

So hi there, champs!

My name is Quirky and you might know me already. If you don't - um, sorry in advance, because I'm kind of annoying!

I'm also totally bringing the Stephanie Brown love to you all. Just pre-her stint as Robin, too. She is fun and you should absolutely all friend her and then play with me forever, despite the aforementioned being-annoying, because you're all totally awesome.

As Krys noted, everyone is in a costume that relates to their new "horror myth". Now some of these are obvious (hello Rocky Horror!) while others are not. There are, however, clues that can help you figure out your myth. Gardening shears for Little Shop of Horrors. Use your imagination and work with your group to decide on what your clue is.

Remember that you can fight any of the monsters you want. The city and camp is swarming with them. You can only permanently kill the ones who correlate to your horror myth.

If you try to change out of costume, any clothing you put on will magically transform back into your costume. You cannot escape it. Props (such as the gardening shears), however, may be abandoned.

Again, as Krys said, feel free to go insane. Torture, maim, kill. You will recover on Monday 100% healed.

Lads and Lasses, here are the groups. If anyone's missing, please post somewhere and give me a heads up as to where you want your kids to be. Or, y'know, just get talking with people and set some shit up!

PLOT STARTS TOMORROW. There'll be a thingie letting y'all know when to go wild.

AND. If you want to kill or torture your kids? Go nuts. At the end of plot (Monday) everyone will come back from the dead and be completely healed of all injuries.

My laptop is having an issue. I think part of it is that the plug is shorting out a bit, but that means that my laptop is mostly unusable at the moment. And since all of the stuff that makes RP easy for me is on there? I'm going to be pretty slow for a while.

I don't know how much I'll be on until it's fixed, so this is really only semi-hiatusy. I'll do my best to keep in touch with folks, but the easiest way to get ahold of me at the moment is probably going to be e-mail.

HEY GUYS.

So you may have noticed a post I made about plot things. Real life has been keeping me down this past week like y'all wouldn't believe (killer cold + starting a new job = VERY stressed Krys!) So I'm a little behind with plot. But I'm getting into the swing of things and I'm slightly less hoarse than I was on Wed, Thurs, and Fri.

So!

I NEED YOU GUYS TO GO HERE AND TALK WITH PEOPLE ABOUT WHAT YOU WANT TO DO DURING PLOT.

THEN! When you have things straight, I NEED YOU GUYS TO POST IN THIS POST and tell me who's going to be grouped with who. If you have a character who is group-less, just say so here (full name of character, please) and I'll take care of you.

I'm going to say plot will go down next Friday (Nov 14) and end on Monday or Tuesday.

Okay everyone! The update check has been done and dead journals are being removed from the comms (to help keep things neat). One of our players has been sick, so we worked out a short extension. She'll be updating this weekend, once she's on her feet.

The post o' disappearing people will be up shortly.

REMINDER!!!

There will be an update check tomorrow, late in the evening. It will be massively, massively harsh. Any character who is over two weeks behind at the time of this update check will be sent an e-mail asking if they'd like to leave the game. Any character four weeks behind will be assumed out of the game, no questions asked.

If you know of someone who is way behind, PLEASE make sure they know about this.

Also! Krys will be running her horror movie plot soon, so keep your eyes on OOC.
